Kathryn Faye Sparks, age 87, of St. Charles, Missouri died Tuesday afternoon, January 8, 2013 at St. Peters Manor in St. Peters, Missouri.  She was born January 18, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Glen and Nellie Griffin Pierson.

Ms. Sparks was a retired employee of Macy's Department Store where she worked in the candy department for twenty-six years, was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in St. Charles and was also a member of the Bunco Girls Club for twenty-four years.

Survivors include her children, Billy G. Sparks (Robin), Barbara Moon (Jerry) and Denny Sparks, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Nellie Pierson.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 in the chapel at Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services, 2115 Parkway Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376 [See Attached Map] with visitation from 12 noon to service time.  Interment will follow at St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
