Althea Margaret Koerner, age 87 of O’Fallon, Missouri died Sunday January 20, 2013.  She was born June 25, 1925 in Saint Louis, Missouri the daughter of Joseph Laskowitz and Altha Embree who preceded her in death.

In 1943 Althea married Henry Joseph Koerner in Saint Charles, Missouri.

The most important aspect of life to Althea was her family. She loved not just her children but her extended family as well.  Althea was a very loving grandmother and was always there to lend a hand when needed.

Until Mrs. Koerner’s retirement she worked for the Normandy Fire Department for 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and her parents.
