Rita Ann Voepel, age 81, of St. Charles, Missouri died early Friday morning, February 1, 2013 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.  She was born May 15, 1931 in Stanton, Missouri, the daughter of Robert J. and Edith A. Door Schmuke.

She was united in marriage to Edward Jacob Voepel on Jun 2, 1948 in Arkansas.  Rita loved her family, reading and flying.

Survivors include her children, Randy Voepel (Susan), Debbie Siesener (Tom), Shan Voepel and Piper Parnell; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Edward.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2013 from 6-8 p.m at Alternative Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 2115 Parkway Dr, St. Peters, MO 63376.  Her body is to be cremated.
