Gerald "Jerry" "Pops" Wray Crouch, Sr., age 71, of St. Louis, Missouri, died Saturday February 02, 2013 at St. John's Place In Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born May 05, 1941 in St. Charles, Missouri, the son of John Crouch and Ruth Lorainne Carpenter Shaw.
Mr. Crouch worked as a Cab driver and dispatcher for a taxi company for 30 years.
Gerald, who was also known to some as "Jerry" or "Pops", loved to tell stories and joke around. Those that knew him were given nicknames.
Survived by: his children; Kerry (Art) Snow of St. Louis, MO; John (Michelle) Crouch of St. Louis, MO and Amy Stewart of Burlington, Iowa. His siblings; Mary (David) Briegel, Gary Carpenter and Keith (Vicky) Carpenter all of St. Charles, MO. Grandchildren: Caleb Crouch, Aurora Stewart, Shelby Crouch, Arianna Stewart and Blake Snow. A special friend, Sally Crouch.
Preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Mary Camille (Felty) Crouch; a son, Jerry "Louie" Crouch and a sister, Carol Wiedner.
A visitation for Gerald will be held Thursday, February 07, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M with a time of sharing at 7 P.M at Alternative Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 2115 Parkway Dr., St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
